summer is coming to a close. and I think I'm ok with that.

sigh no more

I'm looking out the window, and I see it raining--and the sun is shining.  it looks amazing.
sorry for the lack of posts.  summer is winding down.  I haven't started school yet, but will
next week.  so, that means even less posts.  thanks to all those followers.  (it's not as many as some blogs, but it's nice.)

I put lace elbow patches on this sweater: (no, it didn't have any holes in it, but I thought it needed a little something.)

I wanted to do something different with my hair, so I let my friend give me completely legit cornrows. I can't

this is the dress I made awhile back--I haven't worn it hardly at all, but felt like it today.
I have a bit of a head cold, but hopefully I'll be over it soon.

Oh!! and I MIGHT be getting my camera today! I'm bidding on ebay for it (a d80) it comes with 2
batteries, and a nice lens. There's still 4 hours left to bid, but I think I'm doing pretty good--no-one has bid in 15 hours. (But I'm sure it'll get hectic in the last few minutes.) *crosses fingers and hopes and prays*

it was rainy again today.  but the sun came out for a bit.
Some inspiration:  (and she's only 14! not to mention cute)  she makes me long for winter.  i actually do want winter to come.  i can't wait for sweaters and scarves and coats.






I drew something out of Dr. Suess' "the lorax" today. It's for a frineds birthday. I saw a ladies tattoo the 
other day, that I actually liked, and it was a scene from that book. I'll post pictures tomorrow.
