all grown up

Was it really only a few years ago that we all were saying Miss Fanning was "cute"?  (Thanks to jadepurplebrown.blogspot.com for the photos)

I wore my little brothers suit jacket today--it made quite the cropped jacket.

These are my outfits from a couple of days ago....they were quite comfy, and I like the setting for these pictures.

And I've had a recent obsession with putting home-made appliques  on t-shirts.  I made an owl for my little sister, and I put a Giant flower-looking blob on a t-shirt of mine.

I'm off to have some lunch, practice violin, take a nap....and to possibly sew something.

lazy afternoon

I was lazy today, and just threw on this:

My mom & sisters and I went to the Goodwill yesterday--best store in the world!!! I found this
bathing suit, and I LOVE it:

Today's been a weird day.  It started out good, then got a bit confusing and frustrating.  Now it's just........tiring.  
I watched "Much ado about nothing" today.  (Shakespeare's play.)  It's so funny, & 
Senor Benedict is BY FAR my most favorite character.  
I don't have any new or interesting outfits--What I wore today is just about the same as yesterdays post shows. It's still so cold out--The wind is awful, and the snow still so deep,
that there's drift almost 4 feet deep on our driveway.  Ugh.  Why can't winter come and go, with snow, but take away the snow again the next day?

Happy Single Awareness day

So yesterday, while everyone else celebrated valentines day, my sisters & I celebrated single awareness day.  =D  No valentines in my mailbox, and no invitations to be a valentine, except for the invitation from my dear friend Libby, so she was my valentine.  I think 
valentines day is over-rated anywho.  
My mom and sisters and I went to a Symphony yesterday afternoon.  It was Beethovan and an amazing dude on the piano.  And I was brave enough to wear this:

Isn't it wonderful?? My grandma left it for me until she returns again this summer, from CA.
(Don't worry--rabbits reproduce every 3 weeks, so I don't think the world has any less rabbits 
in it after making this coat.) =D
And, my mother gave each of my 4 sisters and I a bouquet of roses yesterday:

I do so love balloons. I want to have a whole bunch of HUGE white ones in my

Whimsical--full of whims, freakish, having odd fancies, capricious. 

There's something so whimsical about a circus, or fair.   The colors are captivating, 

the food junky but devine,  & just enjoying simple things like a corn dog, or a ferris wheel ride are what make life better.  

When I lived in CA, we would go to the local Del Mar fair in San Diego.  My favorite part was always the pig races (te-he), the dip'n'dots (yum), and the pony rides.  Although, I've always hated clowns.    

I tried something new yesterday: Shorts and tights. I rather like how it turned out.
